After getting a degree in art, Carolyn Sedinger spent many years as a graphic designer, working at museums in Louisiana, Indiana and Texas. It was her intention that “someday” she would become a painter. “Someday” has arrived!

Carolyn is inspired by her home, her garden and her neighborhood. The sun on neighborhood bungalows, vegetables and herbs in her home garden and chairs sitting in the backyard are subjects in her work.

She has loved and created art her whole life. She has always had a strong need to “make things” – this desire fills her time and occupies her thoughts. The hours in her studio are an exciting time that allows her to follow a passion she has felt since she was a child.
